This customer came in with his landcruiser for a light restoration which after conversation quickly grew into a fully blown restoration from the ground up with a few extras and a few special one off parts.We began with the Under side – both axles were
fully stripped, blasted, strengthened and modified to take the KAM prototype locking diffs the front in addition had the swivels hard chromed then powder coadted and rebuild with all new seals and bearings and bush’s then mounted on ironman suspension, autobox and transfer box where in exelent condition and only required a clean up and service this was also fitted with another one off hand brake conversion.
Engine after inspection had a turbo overhaul, new starter motor, new alternator and all ancillary brackets and metal work powder coated to customers choice. Chassis was also powder coated along with all suspension arms, brackets and pipes. Whilst the body was off the underside of the shell was cleaned and painted to match the exterior which was had what little rust/rot it had repaired then was completely repainted back to its factory red colour. Externally we added Italian made front and rear tube bumpers, rock sliders, steering guard and super winch.
The interior has had a full retrim from the factory brown to a very tastefull black leather and all plastics repainted in matching black. The roof lining was also retrimed
Finished off with a set of specially made mach 6 wheels and and BFGoodrich 285/75/16 tyres
